we had tickets to a screening for friends of benefits however we didn't end up getting to see the movie. as it turned out, entrance was first come first serve. i don't usually come first. i wasn't too upset, seeing as the movie looks stupid and the cocktail hour provided me with a roadie of chilled chardonay. not bad. ended up- not my idea, at old tried and true. trying to look all cute, knowing good and well i'm about to pound 2 lbs of yogurt. #everyday

kings road

my friend and rossmore LA jewelry designer, susy lequex meet me for coffee yesterday . so cool as she rolled up on her bicycle to meet me at kings road. i was all "ohh i like your hair like that" but she informed me that doing this to (wet)long locks will make ringlets. and obv. the fresh air breeze is a better alternative to a blow dryer.

gettin it at the getty

this single pale pink rose was really pretty and i wanted to pick it off for myself. apparently thats frowned upon so i took a picture of it instead.

we went to the getty villa in the midst of carmagedon last weekend when brad's mom was in town from texxus. not only were the roads clear of traffic but the weather was delightful to take in getty's historical recreation of a roman villa.
